Salvo’s – An Italian Restaurant Steeped in History and Tradition

In 1976, Salvatore Dammone fulfilled his small dream by opening “Salvo’s,” bringing a slice of sunny Italy to Leeds. Initially, it was a modest trattoria-style eatery where guests would take a seat and enjoy delicious meals in a casual atmosphere. Over the decades, the restaurant underwent four renovations, yet the owners preserved the family history and traditions of this iconic establishment. Today, the third generation of the Dammone family continues to uphold “Salvo’s” cherished customs, offering residents of Leeds authentic Italian hospitality.
