Where the Yorkshire group began, and still keeps its head office

Yorkshire Dental Suite has nine practices; the Oakwood Lane surgery in north-east Leeds is where they began. It opened in 2016 under oral and implant surgeon Abdulbaset Dalghous in what had been a GP surgery, and his twin sons Hassan and Hussein, both dentists, built the brand out of it and run the group from here. Chelsea and Birmingham sit under separate branch companies; the Leeds practice is registered with the Care Quality Commission to Mr Dalghous himself.

Treatments and services

Implantology carries the most weight: single implants, implant bridges, All-on-4 and All-on-6, denture implants, and Teeth in a Day™, where extraction, implants and fixed teeth happen in one surgical day. Lost bone is met with grafting, sinus lifts and zygomatic and pterygoid implants. Cosmetic work runs on Nanofill Composite Bonding®, the group’s registered resin protocol, worked out here before it reached the other clinics, plus veneers, crowns, whitening and gum contouring. Aligners and braces cover children through to adults; emergency appointments are part of the offer.

A practice other dentists refer into

More than three hundred dentists a year send cases here for implants, endodontics, periodontics and wisdom teeth, with shared care or hand-back afterwards. Planning runs on on-site CBCT and iTero scanning, and the group’s own laboratory builds the final work. Sedation reaches from numbing creams to intravenous, with a full-day option for long full-arch sessions. Patients travelling more than sixty miles for full-mouth implants are put up at a five-star Leeds hotel, so Harrogate, York and Bradford show up in the waiting room.

Clinicians

Abdulbaset Dalghous, specialist oral and implant surgeon, founded the practice and takes the surgery. Root canals, retreatment of fillings that failed elsewhere included, sit with the group’s endodontist Shaheer Aasim, whom Leeds patients name again and again for saving teeth written off years earlier. Treatment coordinators carry patients between clinical visits.

Who it suits

People rebuilding a whole arch who want surgery, laboratory and aftercare in one place; nervous patients for whom sedation decides everything; and dentists with a case they would rather refer than attempt. Care is private, so NHS patients need another practice.
